Description

Role purpose: To ensure correctness of new products configurations and deployment as well as continued correctness of the records generated from ALL products. Ensure the availability and maintenance of aggregated data for assurance and reporting purposes.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Manage the new products development cycle from PDs to implementation by the Technical Teams.
Ensure correctness of the new products and services configurations and availability of data / records generated by these products on both FRAMS and PINS (RA and MIS Systems)
Facilitate the products and services testing – through FRITS and expansion of the FRITS testing portfolio.
Regens – Reconciliations between profiles on OCS, G2, VXView, Switch, GGSN, iNSight and ERA.
Facilitate collaborations with all departments involved in reporting and revenue monitoring – Mediation, MIS, CVM, M-Pesa Finance and Operations, EBU and CBU as the point of contact for RA.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

Solid understanding of any of the BI tools for data management – Oracle BI, SAP BO / Lumira, Power BI, ClickSense OR Solid SQL Knowledge (Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server)
Demonstrated experience working with large volumes of data, preferably on Oracle database
Solid knowledge of EXCEL – Pivots, Dashboards, Formulas… etc.
Self-starter. Should be able to carry out tasks unsupervised.
Attention to detail, urgency and good communication skills (both verbal and written).

Must have technical / professional qualifications

At least a Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or equivalent
EXCEL
Business Intelligence Tools (such as Business Objects, Tableau, SAP Lumira, Oracle BI etc) – added advantage.
