San Martinho Beach Club, a lifestyle resort boasting self-catering and hotel accommodation, including a beach bar, restaurant and conference facility, is currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller / Manager who has the ability to work under pressure and has excellent communication skills.
Key Performance Areas:
The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee the capturing of the financial data by the bookkeepers, and to prepare management accounts for submission to SA on a monthly basis, for two businesses, and 6 divisions within those businesses.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Financial Controller or Financial Manager, where the role includes staff oversight
Formally qualified with an undergraduate degree is a minimum requirement - Fluent in English, written and spoken
Excellent knowledge and experience dealing with The Mozambique Revenue Authorities (MRA) for monthly returns - Hospitality experience would be a huge advantage or Food and Beverage
- Excellent computer literacy skills including Pastel and MS Excel
- Mozambique national / citizen
- Must be based in Bilene, or willing to relocate to Bilene (Accommodation is provided)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
